* Right click on the Start button at the left-bottom corner of your desktop, and select “Device manager” option. If it is not working in Windows 10, go to updates the driver. It seems that the Windows 10 replaces with a generic Synaptic driver by default, so some function runs into something wrong. But it fails to work inside the native photos app and Task view history. I have done it and the scrolling function turns fine in Start menu. Finally log out and in to check if it works. * On the right side pane, find the ScrollControl_Mode with REG_DWORD type and double click on it, then change its value data from 0 to 1. * Double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER to expand its sub-items, and go to the location below: You can also input regedit in Search box to get it. * Press Win + R from your keyboard, type regedit into Run dialog box, and click OK button to open the registry editor. The registry data may be reset by Windows 10 updates, and you need to change it back to the previous one.
